Using Premium Gift Card for Family or Duo?

Hi. Had a gift card for Premium and followed steps from this community to use the gift card for either family or premium (I realize it would shorten the sliding off days from the gift card but it's ok) but the only option I saw when subscribing was Individual Premium. The account is now active as Individual Premium. Is there anything I can do? 

When trying to change it to Duo or Family I get options to pay for it with money and not the gift card active on the account

You're asked to add a payment method when you're trying to subscribe to Duo/Family, since a gift card is not a recurring payment method. If you subscribe to one of these plans, you won't be charged immediately on the payment method you select, but the remaining time from the gift card will be converted into your new subscription.

When it comes to using gift cards to pay, this won't be possible after you upgrade to Duo/Family, since gift cards are only compatible with Premium Individual subscriptions.

Hi, I have a similar question as the OP.  I just successfully redeemed a 1 year subscription to Premium individual, but now would like to convert that to Premium Family.  My online research showed that after redeeming, all I had to do was convert the plan type and expect a shorter renewal date due to the difference in plan cost ... but instead I get this when I choose Premium Family

"Sorry, you are not eligible for that plan. Here are some other ways to get Premium."

Clicking on any link to choose Premium Family from anywhere will take me back to that error.  Can someone assist with my request to convert my plan?   Thanks!

J'ai pris une carte-cadeau via mon CSE que je ne peux pas utiliser soi-disant car j'ai déjà un compte premium family.

Pourquoi n'acceptez-vous pas les cartes cadeaux avec les abonnements et comment puis-je faire maintenant que j'ai cette carte inutilisable ?
