Hey!

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community.

Keep in mind that you can connect multiple Spotify accounts to Alexa. For that, you must log into multiple Amazon accounts in Amazon Family, and then each person in the home can connect Spotify with Alexa using individual accounts. Keep in mind that you must ask Alexa to “Switch Profiles” when accessing your Spotify library every time you use the device.

I have a family plan on Spotify and have 3 different Alexa devices I’m trying to connect a seperate Spotify account to each Alexa.

I have the same problem. We have Spotify family, and I want the kids to have their own accounts linked to their own Alexas, not mine ? How do I do that ?

Is multiple Amazon accounts with Amazon Household different from separate family profiles where you do voice matching?

The problem I'm having is that even though you can set individual service preferences for each Alexa profile, the Spotify account linking is via the skill, and adding the skill with one Spotify account defaults this to all Alexa profiles with no ability to link different accounts....

Is there a work around? or does anyone know if Amazon/Spotify are working on supporting different service accounts for different voice profiles? This is already a feature on Google home.

I have multiple children in my Amazon Household but they don't have their own Amazon accounts and if I try to create an Amazon account for them Amazon says they are too young.  Whenever one of my kids tries to play music on their echo through spotify, the other echo shuts off.  Please advise.

Has anyone found a solution to this?? It is infuriating and I've spent all day on this. the "solution" does not help. i can't set up amazon accounts for my kids. there should be a simple way to connect amazon household members to spotify family members. it should be a simple select option. should NOT be this hard.

I can't find a work around to this issue - my kids' music is now in my personal spotify account which is driving me crazy - i can't get their alexas to talk to their spotify accounts! They all have their own alexas in their rooms, and a profile in the family spotify account

There is no solution, for the simple reason that Amazon wants you to purchase Amazon music (which does work with multiple accounts for separate alexa devies) instead.

It doesn't even work with Amazon Music, really. You are still playing on one profile for all the kids since they can't have their own Amazon accounts until they're 18. Yes, you can play different things on multiple devices, at least.

Amazon seems to only let you link one other 'account' in amazon family. Everything else is just a profile and it doesn't seem possible to have separate Spotify login associated with the profiles. Everytime one of my profiles changes the spotify login it changes for the entire family and not that profile.
