switching from family premium to normal

switching from family premium to normal

I am currently on a family premium subscription but I am looking to opt out of it and leave the subscription. Instead my new monthly phone deal offers me normal spotify premium so I am wondering whether it is possible to cancel out of family premium and then add on normal premium to my account without losing all my playlists etc.

Hi abiratoff and welcome! 🙂

You would need to cancel your current subscription first which would then revert you and all activated accounts back to Free once your bill cycle is complete.
As long as you don't use a different log-in when you activate your phone's offer I don't see why it wouldn't keep all your primary settings/library. The only way I see it would is if your phone service requires you to be a new user.

Good luck!

Hey @abiratoff, thanks for writing!

Don't worry, you won't lose any of your playlists. When reverting to Free, you'll only lose your offline content.
