My Question or Issue

 

Spotify says that my 4-year eligibility for the Student Premium plan ends on [date removed by Mod]. However, after checking the payments I’ve made and reviewing their payment history, I noticed that I only started benefiting from this offer in [date removed by Mod]. By my calculation, that’s only 3 years. ( I'm only a student since 2022, september)

I am still a student, and even according to the academic calendar, the dates don’t match. In France, students are entitled to 4 years of scholarship support to complete a Licence, and I am still eligible.

 

Please let me to keep my Spotify Student plan.

First of all, the billing dates you mentioned have been hidden to protect your security, okay?

 

Regarding your question: if you activated the student discount in 2022, it should remain valid for up to 4 years — that is, until sometime in 2026, provided it is renewed annually.

 

I recommend checking the last verification email you received from SheerID or Spotify to confirm when the last activation was made. From that date, the discount remains active for another 12 months.

 

It's worth remembering that the displayed date may only refer to the next billing cycle, and not necessarily the end of the discount. Also, you may have verified your student status but only subscribed to Student Premium later — which changes the activation date.

That's right! If you received the verification email and completed the discount activation process, then yes, you can now use the discount if you subscribed to Premium Student.

 

However, if you want to be absolutely sure everything is okay, I recommend contacting customer support! You can access it here.
