Someone else using my student credentials

Hi, I recently got spotify and am wanting to buy premium with the student discount. However when I put in my school credentials it says that it is already being used. I have never used spotify before, I tried to see if any of my old accounts somehow got linked to it and it was not linked to facebook nor any of my prior emails. Is there anyway to verify who is using my credentials?
