Student Discount Credentials

I tried Spotify Premium with its 3 month trial for $0.99. It has now expired and I wanted to get the Student discount as I am currently attending college. Before this I have never subscribed to spotify or any other accounts to listen to music besides my iTunes library. However, when I try to get the Student Discount it says that my credentials are already associated with a different account. I do not know what this account is and cannot access it anyways. How do I fix this and get my credentials verified with my own account?
