Hi,
I have problem with activation student subscription. I have positive acceptacion of my student status from sheer. They gave me link with account activation for Spotify, but in results i have response with code 500 and still free type account on Spotify. Can you help me?

Paying too much isn't cool! Anyway, don't worry about the money, since the transaction is still on pending. This means that spotify froze the money from your account, to see if you actually can pay the premium subscription.
As soon as spotify notices that you haven't finished signing up, they are going to unfreeze the money and you will be able to use it again, so you won't be double charged at all.
Don't be afraid of that. It might seem at first that you got charged twice, but give a few days and your money will be accessible again! :')

Having no spotify premium isn't cool! Usually these kind of things happen, because of your web browsers cache. So try doing the following things:
Try opening the link in a private/incognito tab.
If that doesn't work, change browser and clear both browsers cache.
Lastly if that doesn't work either, try opening the webpage on another device, that should do the trick!

@ostrymieczyk, could you try on another internet connection (e.g. WiFi -> Cellular Data).

I have exactly the same problem and I tried everything.
I don't know what to do anymore and I'm very sad and disappointed right now 'cause I paid the Student Premium Account price and I still can't activate it.
Cellular Data don't change a thing: the link does not want to open...
Exactly I tried different combinations(different platforms, internet connections browsers etc.) in each case result is the same...

Copy pasting and rewriting on different browsers also not working for me.
Not working for me either.
Same issue as all above, tried all solutions, still not working.

Could you try logging out and logging back with the right account. That should to the trick 🙂

Hi guys! This regards anyone else really.
Could you confirm if you also received the email notification from SheerID. If you did, but you're unable to process the payment through the link in the message, try subscribing from here. If the discount was already approved by SheerID, the system will process the payment at the student discount rate. Beware that SheerID may take a couple of days before things work.

I have gotten aproval from sheerID yes.
The only thing I am afraid of when I activate it through that link is that I will be double charged. Spotify already charged me for the student subscription on my creditcard.

@LeoRager I solved my problem by typing my credit card information one more time. After that my status autmatically changed. Thank you for help 🙂
