Activity On

Hello Friends 

Can someone tell me what the "Activity on" status means. See attached screen shot.

I have one follower who I do not follow back.

Does it mean that person is listening to my Playlist?

Or just that person is on their spotify playing songs?

I am not streaming  music when I see the "activity on" appear.

Ey Sonder, welcome to the community!

It's actually an option ("button") which you can click on (to turn this on or off) and that will also explain a few things about it. It's a relatively new feature (I think) because I recall getting a warning about it a few weeks ago.

Alas => this option allows you to share your mobile activity so that people who you chat with on Spotify can see those activities. Also: if you set up jams then those people can also request to be added to such a jam session. I just looked this up to be sure, and this should be a good (short) read => https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/listening-activity/.
