Best smart speaker for Spotify

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a smart speaker which is particularly compatible with Spotify? I understand, for example, that Alexa speakers may be better suited than Siri, and having skimmed a few reviews, the Amazon Echo could be suitable. Many thanks in anticipation.

I've been getting frustrated with my Alexa devices.  They don't seem to work well with Spotify.  When I ask for a specific song or album, they often give me Spotify's compilation list for the artist (e.g., "This is Miles Davis" instead of a specific song by Miles Davis).  I'm not sure if there are other smart speakers that work better, but I'm starting to look around.

My alexa devices will also randomly pause. If you look at the "Spotify skill" on alexa it has terrible reviews

I use a Bose speaker for the high quality playback. And it is WiFi enabled so you don't have to cast to it from another device. It does have a microphone and can use any of the available assistants you use, personally I keep it turned off. I have been using it for 5 years now and have no regrets - worth a bit of extra $.
