I'm leaving Spotify over Daniel Ek's involvement with the military startup Helsing

I recently learned that Spotify's CEO Daniel Ek has become CEO of AI Military startup Helsing, after having invested $600 million in the company. I've long been concerned that Spotify didn't pay it's artists enough, but if their profits are sufficient to allow Mr Ek to invest $600 million in a company create machines of war, then this is not a company that I'm willing to support.

I've since found out that there are alternative streaming services, many, if not most of which, pay artists better then Spotify does, so I shall be taking my custom to one of them.

I hope that Spotify will take this as encouragement to improve their ethics, pay artists fairly and not engage with companies that profit from killing.
