Make ALBUM ART great again!

I remember the days of CDs, where one of the greatest pleasures was exploring the album art and liner notes in the booklet. IMO it was part of the magic of owning a physical copy of an album.

Unfortunately digital streaming has killed that.

My question is that beyond Spotify's cover art and music videos, why can't it include a virtual album booklet that allows us to "flip through" the original album art?

Think of all the great unseen photography and artwork buried in those booklets.

These books added a visual dimension to the music experience. Hiring the right photographer and visual artist helped shape the visual identity musicians.

Acts like U2 or Depeche Mode would not be the same without the photography of Anton Corbijn as an example.

What are some of your favourite examples of album art?

How can we start a petition or contact Spotify to include an "Album Booklet" in their libraries?

It could be an amazing feature.

fr fr another thing i miss is when singles and had there own covers and b sides now because of streaming its just a single song with the albums cover!
