Playlist: Discovery Quest

Hey everyone.

Let’s start a little discovery adventure.

Every Thursday, I’ll post a new 3-song quest. Your mission is to complete all three challenges and reply with your results. I’ll collect everyone’s answers into a playlist so we can hear where the quest takes us.

No right or wrong answers. No need to overthink it. Just have fun discovering music.

3. Sept - 9. Sept 2026

I'll start it off kinda easy:

Song 1:

Find a song about freedom.

Any genre, any year, any artist

Song 2: 

Find a song released in 1979 with a female lead singer.

Any genre.

Song 3:

This is more random

1. Go to your Liked Songs or any playlist you've created.
2. Put it on Shuffle.
3. Skip exactly 2 songs.
4. Whatever song you land on, select “Go to Song Radio”.
5. Start the Song Radio.
6. Listen until you find the FIRST song you genuinely like.
7. That's your third quest song.

Here is my pick in songs:

1. Scorpions - Wind of Change

Wind of change was written after a visit to the soviet union, where the band witnessed soldiers celebrating that the cold war was coming to an end. This song is also strongly connected to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

2. Fleetwood Mac - Storms

A beautiful song from their 1979 album 'Tusk'.

3. Mercenary - My World Is Ending

This is a great band from Denmark. The band is not a new discovery for me, but the song is.

Favorite: Has to be Wind of Change out of these three. It's a well written classic!
