Spotify App Deep Linking

In case this is helpful to anyone promoting a particular artist.  You can create links that will detect and open the Spotify app using a platform called URLgenius.  This will avoid users having to login to the Spotify mobile website.

For example, here's an artist link:

open.spotify.com/artist/1rSGNXhhYuWoq9BEz5DZGO

Just paste the URL for the artist into the box here:

https://app.urlgeni.us

Customize the end of the URL in the box provided with the artist's name etc.  

Select compose and you'll have a URLgenius deep link to the artist on Spotify: https://urlgeni.us/spotify/Arty

You can use the link in any markeitng channel. URLgenius will track app opens across iOS and Android and show you referring URL and state etc.  You can also append UTM tracking parameters for attribution and analytics.   Hope this is helpful!
