Spotify Keeps Price-Gouging Customers

The latest monthly increase to Spotify Premium might be the last straw for me. The service is not improving, but the price keeps going up. And the money doesn't seem to be going to the artists creating the music and podcast content. So, what gives?

I wrote about this too! It's a music service and for some reason they are asking the same cost as Netflix, Youtube Premium and Disney Plus; all the while degrading the original value of the service. I'll be switching to Youtube Premium next month. I kept with Spotify for years because I was disappointed with Youtube changing but at least for the same price I can expect way more.

When I joined about 5 years ago it was £9.99. The price of premium has been going up every year. 

If it continues to increase, there will come a point where I will have to say no and look elsewhere,  the limit I would be willing to pay would be £14.99, and I don't doubt they will increase it to this eventually.

I spend a lot per year on Spotify, and I can't say that the app has improved with every price increase, I actually feel it's got worse over the last 3 years.

I love music that is why I pay for it every month.
