playing in different locations

Hey guys,

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as i cant find what i am looking for.

Lastnight i was listening to spotify on my phone at work and all of a sudden the music changed to sea shantys that my duaghter had decided to listen to on her echo dot at home 10 miles away. I have the Premium family account and she has a kids profile on there but how did her echo connect to my iphone when i am 10 miles away and not on the same wifi network?

How do i stop this happening in future?
