Account band from the web API?

I am working with the Spotify web API. Yesterday, after a while, I got a TooManyRequests error, and now it keeps coming back even though I only make one request every 10 seconds and have not sent requests for 8 hours. Sometimes, one request goes through.

I already added my user as a developer on the developer page. Unfortunately, that does not resolve the error. Does anyone know how to unban an account from the web API?

I resolved the issue by using a new application in the developer dashboard.
