My Question or Issue

Hi folks, I was wondering if anybody else experienced this: a few of the songs I had in my playlist were automatically removed (I am sure they were available, and had listened to them quite a few times before), and then when I searched for them again, nothing showed up.

I then head over to https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/web-api/reference/get-track to search for a specific track in that album, and the available_markets attribute returns an empty string, and the is_playable attribute isn't returned

I specified the market as "HK", which is where my account is based, the is_playable attribute returns false.

Could anyone explain to me how this is, did they remove the songs suddenly off the platform and no region can listen to them anymore? If so, why is the Spotify track id still available on the internet?

Cheers,

Hi!

This could be due to copyright or licensing issues.

These songs will appear as missing or grayed out on Spotify. Keep in mind that any track can be added or removed at any time.
