Clarification on Spotify's developer policy for using SDAs.

I have created a workout app that generates workout routine videos and can play Spotify or Apple Music in the background while you do your workout. My app has in-app paid subscription and is for iOS only. My request for a quota extension was rejected for:

• The Spotify Platform can not be used to develop commercial SDAs

I am using both the Spotify Web API (for searching playlist on Spotify) and the Spotify iOS SDK to open the Spotify app in the background and play that playlist with music controls within my app. Only allowing for Spotify Premium.

Questions about Spotify Web API:

1. Is using the API for searching a general playlist URI (not the users playlist) not allowed for an app that generates revenue?

2. If the answer is "not allowed" for 1., can the API be used without using any Scopes. The API would be just used to confirm that the user has a Spotify account? And if so, would that be allowed for an app that generates revenue?

Questions about Spotify iOS SDK (using the Spotify app in the background):

3. Does using the SDK require quota extension or is it unlimited use as is?

4. If the answer is "requires quote extension" for 3., would that be allowed for an app that generates revenue?

If the answer is "not allowed" for all above questions, is there any type of situation where SDA can be used for an app that generates revenue?
