Make a custom Raspberry Pi a new Spotify Device

Hey, so my question basically is if you can make a new device with a new device id to play spotify on. I have a script that can play music on my device (my computer) and I was wondering if there was any way to basically "create" a new device (a raspberry pi but i dont think that matters) where I can get the device id from and just pass that in the script instead of the id of my computer. Also if it is possible, would I have to sign an agreement or contact spotify directly even if im not thinking about marketing it but only making one copy to use for myself?
