Providing Client Credentials' Access Token to Mobile App

I am building an mobile app that will allow users to search for songs on Spotify. Since I won't require the user to have a Spotify account, I'll need to use Client Credentials on a server.

Is it appropriate to return the generated access token to the client to perform searches? At scale, can I theoretically have hundreds of thousands of access tokens generated like this, or does a new access token invalidate previous ones?
