Recent api changes

Hey Spotify Developer Community and Spotify Team,

I'm berkay, and for the past three months, I've been developing a mobile app. My goal was to create a simple, customized song recommendation app to help users discover new music based on their favorite genres, artists, or tracks not for machine learning or AI purposes.

Recently, I learned that the Recommendations API has been deprecated. This change has really set back my project, as my app relies heavily on this API to provide personalized song suggestions.

My Questions:

1. Can the Recommendations API be brought back?
2. Are there alternative APIs or ways to access similar data?
3. Is the API permanently removed, or might it return in the future?

Why It Matters:

• User Experience: Helps users find hidden gems tailored to their tastes.
• Supporting Artists: Promotes lesser-known artists within Spotify.
• Aligned with Spotify’s Mission: Enhances music discovery and artist-listener connections.

Any guidance or assistance from the Spotify team or fellow developers would be greatly appreciated. This setback is really unfortunate after all the effort put in, and I'm hopeful there’s a way to move forward.
