Search using UPC no longer works

I am using the WEB API for developers using search by UPC: 889176232909 no longer takes information. It used to work 3 days ago.

I got an error no response with this seaerch query=upc%3A889176232909&type=album using https://api.spotify.com/v1/search

It also does not work anymore in the app.

Searching songs with ISRC does not work anymore either.

Works when I try it, I get an album by Fouryo's for the upc code provided. Does it work for you as well now?

Nope.

Get Album Global Warming 4aawyAB9vmqN3uQ7FjRGTy > upc 886443671584 > search album upc:886443671584 > No Global Warming in results.

When I search with query `upc:886443671584`, I do get Global Warming as the top result.

Are we doing something differently?

It looks like it is fixed now. Global Warming does come up as one of the only results.

I know what I did wrong possibly: using upper-case letters instead of lower-case.

I just retry... its seems with some upc works but not specifically with this one. If I tried using the albumId we dont get issues just the use of this specific upc. If we used insted UPC in upper case I got results 800 albums but UPC should be unique so I dont think that the issue because it bring data using other upc and also bring the data using the albumid

Hi @aaguiasymdistro

You can try copying the Album ID of the expected album from Spotify and pasting it into the Get Album console. Then, use the UPC code from the data to search. Does this still not return the expected album?

This can help you determine whether the album isn’t recognized by Spotify under this UPC code, or if UPC-based searching isn’t functioning as expected.

Actually, using the albumID api I get the UPC, then if I used that UPC in the search API doesnt work
