Spotify auth returns email not verified error

My Question or Issue

I've set up Spotify authentication with my NextJS app via Supabase. When I authenticate I keep getting errors relating to the email address not being verified. Here's the callback URL I receive:

http://localhost:3000/onboarding/auth-method?error=access_denied#error=access_denied&error_code=prov...

I've tried adding a new email address and changing the login method from Facebook but still can't authenticate. I get emailed a verification code but still get this url returned. Any advice much appreciated.
