Hello, my app is currently in development mode and hasn't been released on the App Store yet. I want to switch the app to extended quota mode, but when I apply for extended quota mode, it asks for a link to the app on the App Store. Is it possible to switch the app to extended quota mode first and then release it on the App Store?

Hey jasperjarecki,

To submit your app for internal testing on Google Play, first, upload the app's APK or App Bundle to the Play Console, then create an internal test track. Add testers via email, who can then download the app using the provided opt-in URL.

When requesting a Spotify quota extension, consider creating a test Gmail account to use for this purpose, and invite that account with a link if needed. Share the credentials of this test account (after using the invite link) with Spotify when making your request.

For more details, refer to the Google Play Help Center.

Thank you for your response, but we only use iOS.

In that case, it's called TestFlight.

You can read more about it at this page.
