Using API for song quiz

Me and my project group want to do a project for our education in Software Engineering. We want to create a song quiz using the Spotify API, but realized that the policy says that we can't create games such as trivia quizzes. Is it possible to get a written approval for this. It won't be used commercially.

Can't say for sure, but here's just my gut feeling: If it's a personal project or for educational purposes and it's never going to be publicly released, I reckon it should be okay
