Using Zapier Webhooks with Search API: Think There's a Scope Issue

Using Zapier Webhooks with Search API: Think There's a Scope Issue

Hey there!

I'm doing something a little different. I'm using Zapier's Webhooks app to access the search API. I've managed to figure out how to get an access token (yay), and have verified that searching here in the console gets me what I want.

I request a token from that page, which must have some sort of scope that I'm not getting when I request my access token via Zapier. I know something is up because I copied the access token from the console, used it in Zapier, and it works.

Meanwhile, this is what happens when I use the token that I've requested via the API:

I checked the scopes page but nothing stands out as being something that would be required for returning public items.

Questions:

  • The token that I get from the console, does it expire? If not I could just use it in Zapier.
  • Is there anything I need to add to my request (or app) to get the same results that the console-generated token gets me:

Thanks so much for any help you're able to offer!
