Web API - IP block?

Web API - IP block?

Hello,

 

recently my App stopped working, after investigating I discovered that none of my requests towards Spotify are answered anymore.

 

Not even a plain GET to spotify.com or a ping.

 

It seems to me my servers IP has been completely blocked somehow?

My App has been working fine for a few months before.

 

The Dashboard does not say anything about a block or ban.

 

Is there anything I can do about this?

Hi,

 

I have a similar problem on my side, but as a user.

 

I connect through my company VPN and haven’t been able to listen to Spotify today.

It simply doesn’t connect.

 

I see this issue with Scaleway provider and Hetzner too.


I don’t know when it started exactly as I haven’t use Spotify the last few days.

FYI, the issue was not Spotify direct fault but the fact that they use a shared IP (35.186.224.25) and that this IP has a low reputation and was blocked by our firewall:
