When using the API to Get Recently Played Tracks, Context is Null / empty

When using the API to Get Recently Played Tracks, Context is Null / empty

When using the API to Get Recently Played Tracks, I am able to successfully get all the tracks I need, but the information returned is incomplete. Specifically, the Context field is always null.

There is 1 method of getting context to appear, and that is to play the track via web browser rather than an app.

Then there is an error in your account that Spotify Support needs to fix. I had the same issue and they solved it for me.

Thank you, I saw you're other replies before posting this and had tried contacting spotify support. I went in circles for a few hours and tried reinstalling on multiple devices to no avail. I specifically told them about your experience but they didn't know what to do. Any chance you have more info about the "corrupted account" and what they did to fix it?

They did a reset of my account, and I had to reinstall the apps afterwards.
