Adverts for ITV while listening to podcasts on premium

My Question or Issue

I have premium and have always listened to podcasts. All of a sudden while listening I’ve started getting adverts advertising other podcasts and things on ITV (UK tv channel, though I am in the UK). 

I dont pay for premium to have to have my listening rudely interrupted by adverts that I have no interest in. It’s not the ‘sponsor’ ads that all podcasts have either.

Can you please check if your account is still set to premium by going to spotify.com and check your account?

If it is indeed premium, did this happen only once?

Yup my account is still set to premium and it’s happening on every ep of Canadian True Crime. Pretty annoying.

Hi,

We need to find out if it's embedded in the podcast or not. Do other podcasts have the same issue? If you go back, will you hear the ad again at the same time in the podcast?
