My Question or Issue

My wife and me have a Premium Duo subscription. I´m the plan manager.

When my wife trys to request audiobook time, she cannot send out the request to the plan manager. The button for the request appears, but then the error message pops-up "Something went wrong".

She tried to send out the request via our mobiles (iOS, Android) and via Windows PC. Always the same. Windows PC was connected to LAN. Definitively not a connection problem. 

Me, as plan manager, want to buy that "Audiobooks+" Add-On for my wife, so that she has a monthly amount of audiobook time. 

Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out and explaining the situation so clearly — that really helps!

One important thing to check first: Audiobooks+ add-ons can’t be purchased while the plan is still in a free trial. If your Duo plan is currently on a trial, that would explain why the request shows up but fails when your wife tries to send it.

 

Once the trial ends and the plan is using a recurring payment method, the option should work as expected.

If you’re already past the trial and using a recurring payment method, you can also try buying the Audiobooks+ add-on directly from the plan manager account by following the steps in the support article. That can sometimes be the easiest way to set it up.
