My Question or Issue

My autopay on Google Pay for Spotify Premium Family Plan failed due to insufficient funds. In my confusion, I cancelled the autopay entirely.

Now I can't seem to find the 'Update Payment' Option anywhere in my account settings. I've checked everything. I spent an entire day looking for any clue of where it might be, but it's just vanished. I've even tried using the desktop browser and the mobile app. I just can't find it anywhere.

How do i pay for the plan now? Is there anything I can do or will my subscription be cancelled once the billing date passes?

If your payment for Spotify has failed due to insufficient funds and you've cancelled your subscription, your account has already reverted to the free service, so this would explain why you're unable to find the Update payment method button.

 

What you can do in this case is start a new subscription here using the new payment method and re-invite your Family members using these steps. Make sure you're re-subscribing in the same account to avoid issues with the members re-joining the plan (as plan members can only switch plans once every 12 months).
