Being charged twice in the same month

Being charged twice in the same month

Hi there,

I switched over from Spotify Premium to the family plan but my credit card bill shows two payments in the same month being made. It has happened twice now. I already cancelled the individual spotify premium.

Could you please send me an email to organise a refund where I can attach documentation and further resolve the issue. My email is *************@gmail.com. Thank you

This sometimes happens when you switch subscriptions. The second payment is automatically applied to your next month, and you won’t be charged again until the month after.

If you would like a refund, please contact the payments team through the online contact form so they can resolve them for you. If you receive a no-reply e-mail directing you back to the community, just reply to it and you will hear from a representative within 24 - 48 hours.

Hope this helps!

Hey Jennifernz,

Welcome to the forums!

When you upgrade your subscription from regular Premium to Premium for Family, any remaining time that you've already paid for will be converted into a Premium for Family subscription, so this can bring your next payment date forward. You can review your renewal date on the subscription page.

Note: If you subscribed through any other company than Spotify, you will need to contact that company to cancel before signing up to Premium for Family.

Also, I have removed your email address for security reasons 🙂
