Cancel Hulu

I no longer have student account and would like to cancel the Hulu plan, since I pay for the family and it is interfering with my Disney + account

I have the same problem. Everything is telling me to go to my spotify account and "your services" under subscriptions. From here it says to hit "deactivate hulu", but this button apparently doesn't exist.

Thanks for reaching out. 

If you currently have a Spotify + Hulu bundle, you can cancel Hulu by simply switching to another plan that doesn't come bundled with it from your account page. You will lose access to Hulu on the next billing date.

Another way to do this is to cancel your subscription > wait until your account reverts to the free > resubscribe to another plan that doesn't come bundled with Hulu (i.e. just Premium Individual, for example).

If you're not using a bundled plan, but you're seeing charges from Hulu, then the cancellation should be handled directly with them.

So you’re basically saying you guys have no solutiom for it besides calcel all your accounts and then wait a month if u want to watch hbo or hulu without ads. Thats actually rediculous. I have been so frustrated because the single person plan automatically comes with hulu hpwerver i have no way to cancel the hulu account or get any ad ons i want and now hulu sold out to disney so all my stuff is somehow connected to spotify, because they have some kind of hold or lock on my hulu accound and there is nowhere for me to edit or make any changes to my hulu account because of it and by proxy i cannot purchase the disney hulu hbo bundle and everyone wants me to pay 20

dollars per streaming service just to get some kind of control over accounts ive had for a decade

I'm dealing with this right now. I am trying to upgrade my Hulu to ad-free. I originally had Disney+ through Verizon, so when I went to upgrade my Hulu, it said I needed to manage through Disney+. I canceled Disney+ through Verizon and now it's saying my Hulu is connected to Spotify, so I canceled my Spotify, but the changes won't take effect until the 23rd. I canceled all of my subscriptions for nothing, even changed my Spotify membership and now my whole house is stuck with only Hulu+ ads for two weeks unless I create a whole new account for all of it. @Spotify needs to fix this!

Hello, as far as I can tell, there are no individual plans that do not come bundled with Hulu as of 2025. Would you please confirm how we can remove the Hulu subscription without switching to a multi-person or family plan? Otherwise I will need to cancel Spotify premium.
