My Question or Issue

Have a new credit card but can only update 'one time' purchases with new details. Can't find where to update our monthly subscription.  Have followed advice (accounts page/subscriptions/manage your plan BUT there is no 'update' option.  Only change your plan or cancel). Help please🙏

Hey there @Woodywoodwood, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

If you have paid for Premium using a different provider (phone company, third-party), you will have to update your payment details through them as Spotify doesn’t manage those payment details.

 

If you’ve paid directly through Spotify, you should be able to manage your payment details following these steps. If that doesn’t work, try again using a different browser or private window.

In addition to what @Billy-J has suggested, it's worth checking if you're logging in to the correct account (i.e. the plan manager's).

 

You mentioned "our subscription", so it sounds like you have Duo/Family - I'd recommend checking with the rest of the members if they have the option to update the payment details, as you might have accidentally subscribed on someone else's account.
