Changing Country Settings

I'm trying to change the country settings (from New Zealand to Canada) of my Premium account so that I can update my payment information but have had no luck. The country is currently greyed out (set to New Zealand) and I am unable to change it through the settings. The help section advises me to update my payment details and the country will automatically change to suit, but it rejects the new card stating it "doesn't match the country of my account". Do I need to create a new account? If so, how best can I ensure that my saved songs / playlists are transferred over (aside from any material lost due to the different availability in Canada)?

Hey @terpderp, welcome to the Community!

 

Try cancelling your subscription and waiting for your account to revert to Free. After that, you shouldn't have any trouble with changing your country setting.

 

Once that's taken care of, signing up for Premium with your Canadian payment method should go smoothly.
