Changing Country & Payment Details

Changing Country & Payment Details

Right now my account is US, and linked to a US card that has been cancelled. My premium account needs to be paid for this month as my last payment hasn't gone through. I would like to change it to a Canadian account linked to a canadian card, however when I attempt to change the card details it tells me the postal code isn't correct (I'm pretty sure because its not a US postal code). I've tried changing the country first, so that it can receive the canadian card and postal code details, but I cannot....underneath the heading "Country" the text is grey, as in, I cannot click on it. What do I do?

Are you currently in Canada? Please note, you're only able to change your country to the one that matches your IP Address. A detailed support article on how to change countries can be found here.

Yes, I'm currently in Canada. Now I've figured out how to change the
country to Canada, however when I enter my credit card, which is 100%
Canadian, it says that my card "Must be from a country that isn't currently
supporting spotify"......What!?

Please get in touch with Spotify directly via the contact form so the support team can take a look backstage at your account. You may receive an automated reply asking you to check out the support forums again. Not to worry - just reply back (even if it's a noreply address). They should be back to you within 24 to 48 hours.
