Changing payment method to a foreign card

Hi,

So I have been using premium for little over 1 or 2 years, and it has been a wonderful experience. But I  moved temporarily to Nigeria, and while I knew Spotify is not supported in the country I decided to remain on premium by paying with my debit card from the USA. Now that I am settled in Nigeria, I would like to switch my payment method to a debit card from a bank in Nigeria that allow online payments but it keeps rejecting the card, and there is enough funds to pay for the subscription. How can this be resolved, as I have already cancelled my running subscription. Thanks in advance.

I just tried to see if Nigeria is available, but I apologize because it appears that Nigeria isn't on the list yet. The reason why your card being declined is that you cannot use a bank account from Nigeria if your Spotify was created and based in the US. Nigeria is not even on the list so you would not be able to subscribe to a premium plan.
