My Question or Issue

I have been on a free subscription and wanted to upgrade to Premium using the offer to start with first three months for $9.99. My credit card was charged the $9.99 but I haven't received any email confirmation and my account is still showing as a free individual account and unable to access the premium benefits.

Thanks for posting in the Community!
If you've been charged but you still don't have Premium, you might have activated it for a different account.
Our Support folks can take a look at that, only make sure you prepare the P1 payment reference number because they'll need it for verification purposes 🙂

Hi Vasil! I don't have any other accounts with Spotify and just checked
with my wife and she doesn't have an account.
I'm not sure what the P1 Payment Reference number is. Can you clarify where
to find that? This is what I see on my Discover credit card statement:
Fri Aug 19, 2022
SPOTIFY [Moderator edit] NY$9.9
At this point I would just like this charge to be reversed by Spotify. WHo
can help me with this?

Unfortunately we're not able to take a closer look backstage on our end but we recommend that you contact our customer support through the link that @Vasil provided. They should be able to find the payment that was made through the reference number you provided.

 

Note: make sure to not share any sensitive information on this open platform like the reference number in the future to be on the safe side 🙂
