My Question or Issue

So I tried subscribing to the monthly plan which costs Rs. 119/month here in India but the plan was rejected since I have a debit card which does not allow for monthly payments. Then I went on the buy the 6 month prepaid subscription for Rs. 719. Later on I was notified by my bank that both payments of Rs. 719 and Rs. 119 were deducted. To confirm, I logged into my bank account and sure enough the Rs. 119 subscription, which I did not receive, was transacted. Please help.

Hey @nishchay_s ,

Sorry to hear this.

Can you let me know if the Rs. 119 is still in 'pending' status with your bank?

I'll be right here.

No, unfortunately, I double-checked it right now to make sure and both the amounts (Rs 119 & Rs. 719) have been deducted the account.

I also got like an automatic warning message from my bank yesterday to my phone number saying how Rs. 119 were charged from my account and I should block my card if it wasn't done by me.

I have the same issue. I was charged for my transaction but since the card didn't support auto renewal the premium didn't activate. I checked my account statement and the money was deducted. Haven't received a refund yet

Hey @nishchay_s ,

I’d recommend reaching out to Spotify  for more help with this. They will be able to confirm to you the status of the payment. And to clarify exactly what has happened in this case.

You can find some more info here on how to do this. I hope this helps!
