usually I am charged 5.99 every month for my subscription because I am a student however, I was charged 10$ this month and the same amount is set to come out for next month. They didn’t send me an email saying I had to renew my subscription so I don’t know why extra money was taken out

If you notice you've been charged more than expected when on our student discount it's possible the offer has expired and you need to renew it. Premium Student is valid for up to 12 months from the date you subscribed. When the discount expires, your subscription automatically continues at the standard rate for Premium Individual unless you cancel or apply for another year (with a 4 year limit).

 

To renew, just visit this page and either log in to your uni’s portal or upload proof of enrollment. Once you've renewed, you'll get the discounted rate for another 12 months.

 

Student discount users receive a warning email 1 month before the offer expires. The email includes instructions on how to reactivate the Premium Student offer and continue paying the discounted price. In case you didn't see the warning email it might have landed in your spam folders or any tabs such as Promotions etc.
