Complicated Plans

Complicated Plans

Recently, I got kicked out of the Premium Family Plan.
So my boyfriend, who's a Premium Individual User asked me to join him in a Duo Plan.
I just knew later on that I can't join him coz apparently you only join a Premium plan once every 12 months (UGH).
So what I did is I'm the one whose account upgraded to Duo Plan, and he changed back his so I can let him join me. Now it pops in his screen "There was a problem".
How can we ever proceed with this? HELPPPPP!

Hey @frustratedherehelpme ,

It'll likely work after his subscription ended. I just found some info on this: If you're the owner of a Premium Duo/Family plan, you must wait for it to end before you can join someone else's Family/Duo plan.

Hope this helps!

Hey @frustratedherehelpme ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

It is correct that you can only switch Premium Family/Duo plans once every 12 months. 🙂 Can you post a screenshot of the error message that your boyfriend is seeing?

Thanks again!

Hey @frustratedherehelpme ,

Thanks for the quick reply and the image of the error message.

Can you give it a try on another device and/or in another browser?

Here it is.
We plan to retry again after the 22nd when his subscription ends.

So yeah as mentioned on my post, I'm the one whose the owner of the Duo Plan. My bf's premium acc will end on the 22nd. Is it okay? Coz he tried upgrade to Duo but didn't worked when he invited me, so we switched, hence this is the outcome. Hopefully it will work!

Hey @frustratedherehelpme ,

Yeah, he should be able to join once his plan ended. 🙂
