Credited PHP 129 instead of PHP 9

Solved!

Credited PHP 129 instead of PHP 9

Plan Premium

Country Philippines

Operating System Android

I'm actually asking this in behalf of someone else because she doesn't have access to the internet for a while.

Simply put, she availed for the PHP 9/3 months promo. However, she was credited PHP 129 instead of PHP 9. The subscription still lasts for 3 months, however.

She hasn't subscribed to Premium before, aside from the free trial.

Please resolve this.

Hey there @jamesTedrick,

Thanks for getting back and clarifying.

Keep in mind that if she wasn't eligible for 9PHP for 3 months but was for the one for 129PHP for 3 months, it would explain why she availed of that second one instead.

If she'd prefer a refund, we'd recommend checking this support site article for more info.

Happy Holidays!

Hey @jamesTedrick.

Thanks for getting in touch!

Currently we have two offers. One for new users that get 3 months for 9 PHP and an offer where users get 3 months for the price of one. The second offer is for users that have used Premium in the past.

Perhaps her account or her payment method has been used for Spotify in the past, which has caused her to get the second offer.

Hope this answers your question. Let us know if you have further questions.

Have a nice day.

I understand. It's just that when she was arranging her subscription, we made sure that we had the "PHP 9.00/3 months" option ticked. It just feels unfair that we were suddenly charged PHP 129.00. Do we have other options aside from accepting what happened?
