Duo account - password reset

Duo account - password reset

I have a DUO account and my second user got logged out of Spotify.  When logging in, it asks for a username and password.  We have tried her e-mail and various password combinations but nothing is working.  Is there a way on my master account to change their password without changing mine? If we use my username and password, it logs into my account with my playlists. Suggestions on how to get them back in to their account?

Hi @Suzie_K, thanks for reaching out!

 

Spotify Duo accounts are linked under the same plan but have separate logins for each user. Unfortunately, the plan manager cannot change the password for another user directly. Each user retains their own login credentials.

 

But you can try resetting in by clicking on the link bellow:

 

https://accounts.spotify.com/password-reset

 

  • Enter the email address they used to set up their Spotify account (likely the email they used when joining Duo).
  • Spotify will send a password reset email. Follow the instructions in the email to reset the password.
