My Question

How will changing from Premium Duo to Premium Student affect both my and the other account? I have a premium Duo account with my girlfriend, I recently enrolled into college. I filled out the SheerID verification form and am approved for the student discount. I don't want to switch to student if it kicks her off premium.

Thanks for reaching out.

Just to clarify, Premium Student works like Premium Individual but at a discounted rate, so you won’t be able to invite any other users to it.

If you switch from Premium Duo to Premium Student, your girlfriend’s account will automatically revert to Spotify Free when the plan changes.
