Failed payment error message

Failed payment error message

Hi,

 

My CC info changed therefore my payments ceased. I edited this info, however, my iPhone shows the  message: “your last payment didn’t work”, and the option to downgrade.


Will this message disappear, or do I need to download the app again?

We've moved your post to a separate thread, since it was a bit different than the original one, which it was posted in, hope you don't mind!

 

We'd recommend starting off with taking a look at your order history to check the status of your payments and if the new card was accepted. If it wasn't, there's this useful guide about failed payments, which you can go through and follow the suggestions.

 

Another possibility that comes to mind if you don't see your new card in the order history is that you might have accidentally signed up for a new account with it and have the old one stored for another account, hence the failed payment error you're getting. We suggest checking your bank statements for an authorization charge on your new card and if there is one, then you can follow the steps in this guide to locate the account it has been used on and close the unnecessary one.

 

Also, since you mentioned seeing this error on your iPhone, then it seems like you have access to the account with the old credit card there, so we'd recommend checking any other devices you might be logged in in order to see if you can find another account.
