Getting Ads on Spotify Premium Duo

My Question or Issue

  • I have just signed up for Spotify Premium Duo and my partner is still receiving ads whenever she plays music (we are NOT listening to podcasts so not talking about the hardwired ads). There has been no failed payment, with the next one due on the 27th this month.9

Hey @Will0w17 

 

Tell your partner to log into her Spotify profile on her browser here with her email. Her username will be displayed after she logs in.

 

After that, check the status of her subscription. If everything looks ok, logout of the app in her device, and be sure to use that username, instead of her email address, to login to her account. It's the one with the Premium features.

I'm sorry you and your partner are going through this issue. I recommend that you do a clean reinstallation of the Spotify app.

we tried this and it didn't work. any other options?

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Can you follow the steps suggested by @osornios and double-check if it says Premium Duo under Your plan? It's also a good idea to log out > restart your device > log back in to force a sync.
