Hulu + Spotify account unlinking

Tried out hulu through spotify and decided I wanted to do ad-free viewing. Couldn't upgrade it through Hulu so I had to cancel hulu on my Spotify account. After that, My hulu account still said I had to manage my billing/upgrading through Spotify. Talked to support as well and they said I needed to contact spotify about this.

Problem: I need to unlink my spotify and hulu account.

Currently there is no way for you to unlink your Hulu and Spotify. The reason why is because you link your Hulu account with your Spotify which means you Spotify controls your Hulu account. Since now you are paying for Spotify you can't unlink the accounts separately. I would recommend creating a whole new Hulu account so then you can have the other perks that Hulu has to offer.
