I suscribed to Spotify Duo with an account set in a different country

Solved!

I suscribed to Spotify Duo with an account set in a different country

Hello everyone,

Here is my issue, I suscribed to Spotify Duo while my account was set up in France. I now live in Belgium so I followed every steps to change country after realizing that my account was set up in France. If I understood well, I now have to wait until September 14th for the change to be taken into account.

Is there any way for my girlfriend to join the Duo plan before the 14th ? Right now, she got the Free Spotify.

We do live at the same adress.

Thank you !

Plan

Spotify Duo

Country

Belgium

Hey @Alex_Brownie,

Thanks for reaching out.

If you've successfully updated your payment method to one that's been issued in Belgium, your country setting will update on your next billing date. Unfortunately, there's no way to speed this up.

I hope this clears things up 🙂

Thank you Maxim ! Still, it's unfortunate because we'll be paying for the Duo subscription without actually being able to use it, even if it is for a short amount of time.

Hey @Alex_Brownie,

Yeah, I can totally understand that. However, there's no other way, unfortunately.

Have a great rest of your day 🙂
