I've subscribed to the Duo plan, but my husband can't have access

I've subscribed to the Duo plan, but my husband can't have access

I've subscribed to the Duo plan, but my husband can't have access to the premium features. I sent him the invite, he accepted but it still does not work.

Hey there,

 

Thanks for coming to the Community.


Does it show on the plan management page that he's part of the plan? If so, please ask him to log in at https://spotify.com/account

 

That way, we can check if he's logging into the right account, as it will show on the account page that he's part of a Premium Duo plan.

He logged out and, then, logged in in the app and also in the link you sent but it didn't work 😞

Exactly, it shows the Free version

Thanks for getting back.

 

In that case, he accepted the invite using a different account 🙂 You can remove him from Premium Duo through the management page and then send him a new invite, so he can accept it using his main account.

We did what you suggested but it still does not work. He logged with his main account but still can't access the premium features

I hope you're doing well.

 

Did he accept the newly sent invite? If so, it should show that he's part of the Duo plan when he heads to https://spotify.com/account (while he's logged into his main account).

 

If the site shows it, but the app doesn't, please have him log out of the app and log back in again.

We did it and it worked! We logged eith the same account as it was, but now he lost all his playlists lol
