My Question or Issue

Dear Spotify Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue with a recent subscription and to request a full refund.

I signed up specifically for the **3-month free trial** promotion. However, I was immediately charged the amount of **69.99 EGP** for the subscription, as shown in the attached payment receipt. The free trial period was not applied as expected.

Since the free trial offer I intended to select was not honored, and the charge was made immediately, I kindly request the following:

1. **A full refund of the 69.99 EGP.**

 2. **Confirmation that the subscription has been cancelled** to prevent any future charges.

I have attached the payment confirmation for your reference.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Hey @31jsu5rluosh2schbyqi, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Keep in mind that free trials are available to those who haven’t tried Premium in the past, unless the offer states otherwise. This includes payments made from your payment card on any of Spotify’s services (different account, etc).

I also understand that you would like a refund. Please know that if a payment has already been processed on your account, canceling the subscription will not refund the payment, and your Premium will remain active until the next billing date. Any and all refund requests are handled by contacting Customer Support here.

Refunds can only be processed within a brief timeframe after the payment has been processed (date of purchase), and I would recommend making sure that you have all of your payment information on hand, as the Customer Support team will need that to verify your account. There is more information about refunds here.

Hope this helps. If you need further help, just let me know.

My Question or Issue

I have a Spotify account that's never had premium or anything. It gave me an advertisement for $0 for 3 months of premium. So I did it and I paid via PayPal through Google Play. There were no other offers. It told me I'd be charged $0. But when it went through it literally charged me $12.99 from my PayPal. Not a temporary hold either. It straight up charged me. I didn't want to be charged for something I was advertised to get free. I have the three months now. It says my next payment is November 29th. But it was not free as advertised.
